The Swimmers Myflixer - Watch Free Movie In HD In its two hours and ten minutes of running time, the true story film The Swimmers Myflixer stirs up a volatile range of emotions. No matter what opinions you may have regarding refugees, the film is successful in illustrating how challenging and dangerous the journey can be for these people. Human people often find themselves facing death's jaws in an effort to flee persecution, conflict, or cruelty.
Many of them are sucked up, never to be heard from again. I won't give away everything that happens here for those who are unfamiliar with the plot because doing so would detract from the many suspenseful moments. The movie is an incredible masterwork of tension throughout the first 90 minutes or so, which is great to the credit of the filmmakers.
The narrative follows two sisters as they pursue their aspirations in a war-torn Syria. When the nation is attacked, Yusra's aspirations of winning an Olympic gold medal in swimming are destroyed. Sara and Yusra's father agrees to take them to Germany in an effort to provide them with safety and salvation following a close call with death.
The two girls set off for Berlin in search of a better future with Nizar as their confidant and guide, crossing treacherous waters and putting their faith in dubious smugglers. The real battle for freedom begins for the men and women who manage to reach Germany as each of these refugees tries to start over.
Of course, that entails Yusra returning to swimming and hoping to break through to the top. Is she capable of going that far, though? The Swimmers is successful when it focuses closely on the journey the two girls take with the determination to go to Germany no matter what. The movie is filled with incredibly terrifying scenes, as I've already mentioned, and an early boat scenario will have you on the edge of your seat.
Unfortunately, these moments are mixed together with a somewhat abrupt tone that drifts into the realm of inspirational sports drama. I'm trying not to give anything away here, and I do know where the filmmakers were going, The significance of Lulu the bird early on, when it is seen fluttering around the room free from its cage, is a very potent symbol for the life Sara and Yusra wish to live.
However, there are some rather recurrent motifs throughout this film. Considering how long The Swimmers is, some viewers might find themselves getting restless by the time the third act comes on. The film falters a little bit at this point, especially considering how intense the early scenes were. The movie does, however, have a few really inventive images and some really nice editing throughout.
It's incredibly effective to highlight how far these individuals have come since the start of the film by showing the darkness engulfing our protagonists through a few distinct flashback scenes. The "European Migrant Crisis" as it is sometimes referred to fails to do justice to the misery and dangers these men and women have had to face. This film does a fantastic job of conveying the difficult road.
The Swimmers is ultimately a thought-provoking and frightening story that is torn between being a gloomy drama and a more upbeat, sporting movie with a lot of clichés. The end effect is a film with both hot and cool areas; one that can't quite decide what it wants to be and feels a touch tonally disjointed. Nevertheless, it's still worthwhile to watch.More Links:-
